So I watched this movie last night for the first time. I think this may be one of my new favorite movies. I personally love older movies because the stuff coming out now isn't as original and great as movies were 20 or more years ago. Jack Nicholson is one of my favorite actors and he played this role well. I loved the character Chief and how he had the staff at the ward tricked. I highly recommend this movie if you haven't seen it yet.

This is such a brilliant movie, so sad, but fantastic. The ending is particularly sad, but you have to watch the film! It's one of the those films you cannot miss - a classic! Great performances too!

Jack's eccentric performance rules. He's really a influential character, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't base a few characters on him in my time. The 70's really puffed with great films, shot on great, quality film. Nowadays it's hard to get away from all that digital video ???.

just had a conversation with my friend about this movie 2 nights ago and how much it rules. he's only read the book, which also rules, but the movie rules. rules rules rules.

For some reason it bored me the first time I saw it, but I was younger then, gotta re-check it out.
