Anyone heard Metallica's 3 new singles?? If not and you consider yourself a fan, especially of the older stuff, get the heck to iTunes and buy 'em! I'm so stoked for this album and to see them live in a few months!!! Rick Rubin's production sounds super tasty and the songs are awesome, especially Cyanide.

I saw that new video on there myspace... I didn't care for it at all.

man, i used to love master of puppets and i actually haven't minded metallica that much. then i saw the movie about st. anger and that's all i think about when i think of that band. still, kill 'em all is pretty badass.

"Some Kind of Monster" was a phenomenal movie, especially if you're in a band, but yeah, I know what you mean. I never really listened to St. Anger, but from the things I've heard, it pretty much got written off by Metallica fans cos it sucked.

the new metallica is pretty much the worst thing i've ever heard in my life. i've never been a big fan, but i can tolerate their older stuff. they used to be all about war and political views, now their lyrics are like talking about the sun shining and love is a 4-letter word???? oh my god. i've met 4-year olds with down syndrome that have more talent.

Ha, wow. I never thought I would hear Metallica's talent disrespected like that. Regardless of whether you like them or not, and I know a ton of people don't and that's fine, I think you have to give them props for ALL being amazingly talented. If you've ever even tried to play along with them, actually play note-for-note, you'll find out just how talented they are. But I'm not going to press the point. To each his own.
