Has anyone here seen it?
It has yet to be released in the US and the Korean title is, "Saibogujiman kwenchana".
I really want to see it, because it sounds ilke something I'd enjoy, also, it's directed by Chan-wook Park (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Lady Vengeance)
It's about a girl who thinks she is a combat cyborg, who gets checked into a metal institution where she falls in love with a man who thinks he can steal other people's abilities.
If you've seen it let me know what you thought. I'm really interested in this film and am tempted to buy a bootleg online.

Out of Park's element, which I like. Sounds fascinating. Been waiting a while to see this.

SUCH a good movie, flippin a. It came out 1 or 2 years ago I believe and I saw it at the cinema. It's really weird but extremely lovable for it. The mental institution in which the film is set is made into a microcosm, which makes using the setting as material for a romantic comedy very interesting and imaginative. Nothing really makes sense because the characters all act on (insane) impulses, but you realize that it makes sense to them haha. The film itself is highly unpredictable and in a league of its own because of how imaginative and twisted it is.
Idk what else to say, it's really good if you don't mind English subtitles.

This film is beautiful. Seriously, everyone would be silly not to give this a go. I seriously think this man can venture into any genre and draw something completely original from it.
I have never seen anything like this, the imagery is beautiful. I've always thought that romantic comedys can and should be colourful, imaginative and playful. By adding the element of Mental Disabilities or Instabilities he has found a way to create that colourful and dis-connected universe with no need for explanation. I love this and could go on about it for days, but I won't. All I will say is that it is perfect. Seriously.
