its a film based of a book. Its written by the same guy that wrote no country for old men. Its a different person doing this movei than no country for old men. But i saw a screenshot from the upcoming movie "The Road" and i thought it bada@@. I originally thought it was about homeless people or somthing but its about a post apocolyptic earth (thats why i put it in sci-fi)
Off the bat i was intrigued by the orgins and blah blah so i went out ang got the book and started reading it. Ill prob be one of those guys who are all "i read the book" yadda yadda. but anyways down to details.
The book is a lil slow moving but it picks up quick before u even know it. Im only about almost a hundred pages in and i think the book is only around 300 or so (i think, haha) but a big event is about to happen. so my question is. Has anyone read this book yet (without spoilers) or are you in the process of reading it?
the movie looks like its gunna be awsome. just from the screen shots.
imbd has better ones. but thoe movie has some cool actors in it.
reguardless the movie is gunna be intense. seriously. haha

Oh ya! There are some other big names in it too. Like the dude from memento and that chick from hancock and monster. The book is dark so I hope the movie isn't far off. I'm excited to see how the actors and actresss do.

Can't believe they made a movie, still to this day. Excited, though. Going to be a great flick, McCarthy is the best.

Most of 'em would rather expand their wings, and hover over greater things.

Yo, you gotta edit that picture. This thread is huge, haha.
But, it comes out November 26th. So far, I haven't heard of it being limited, but I wouldn't put it past them. I think we'll see a trailer this month, or next.
They expanded Charlize Theron's role, but apparently they have stayed insanely true to the text. McCarthy's been fairly lucky with his movie adaptations, he always has the greatest filmmakers after his flicks. He's a great writer, though, so I can see why.
