woo a thread!

Into The Wild really made me think about my own life and how i'd like to live the rest of it.
Emile is also really amazing in this movie.

I heard the book delves into the writers thoughts and is a little boring and different -- people I know that have read it said the movie was a lot better.

ps. Thanks for the mention, bb.

she didn't play a very big part really.. but she didn't seem bad. she played a wee teenager who tries to seduce chris (emile's character) but he has none of it.

this is definitely one of my faves. i saw emile on letterman one night and he was talking about the story. i googled it straight away and became pretty fascinated with it.
for whatever reasons chris decided to do what he did i still think it was amazing. freedom like that would be bliss.

This is one of my favorite movies that Ive seen in a long time. I love the way it was filmed, and the way it portrayed Chris' sense of freedom.
