There will be no Harry Potter movie this November, as previously expected and announced.

The 6th films release has been postponed to July 2009, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

WB say:

"Like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films-changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of," he said. "We agreed the best strategy was to move 'Half-Blood Prince' to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer."

So when will the 7th one come out if this one is summer? I feel like they have been back on set for the 7th for a while so it shouldn't be that long of a wait. I am so mad that they pushed it back. I was sooo looking forward to it. It was only 2 months away. What could have possibly gone wrong that they needed another 8ish months to fix it??
