I loved this documentary.
My whole life I sorta just went around with this idea that all girls who were bullemic and anorexic just did it for attention.
Being a bigger girl myself I just always thought,"Theres no way someone soo small could be unhappy."
Watching thin really opened my eyes to the disease itself.
Each girl made my heart ache in a different way.
Especially the highschool girl who didn't want to get better because she liked how she looked when she was thin.
Something made me want to shake all of the girls and just say "you're beautiful and perfect the way you are."
I really hope all the girls in the documentary can reach a full recoery and happiness.

It's not the size of a nose that counts. It's whats in it that matters!

haha im sure no one thought u were a creep
but then again with that whole 2 Girls 1 Cup stuff,
some people not knowing what u were watching mightve thought u had some weird fetish.lol
and yeah I was upset it that none of the girls were fully recovered.the girl I wanted recovery for the most was the mom, just so she could focus life more on her children.

if you think about it too much, you'll start to think that it matters.

stupid bullsh*t magazines like cosmopolitan have so much to blame for these things (not all the blame of coarse). i think every supermodel and every writer and every editor and every person involved in publishing trash like cosmopolitan should be forced to watch this

yeah..I mean they definatly contribute alot to the problem..but I look at these magazines too and I still dont feel the need to ever purge myself. The disease itself you can definatly see from this documentary is alot more mental than everyone thinks.Like it took alot more than a magazine to make these girls do what they do.Part of it is about having control over something in your life when you feel like you never do have control.
But I do agree. Our media today doesnt help at all.

yeah the whole self image that females have in our society is quickly deteriorating from what it should be, and our media just makes it worse, telling females indirectly and often directly that they need to be thinner, tanner, etc. When, in fact, you are beautiful the way you are. The girls i have dated are the kind of girls who rarely wear make-up, and that's the kind of confidence and general attitude that women need to have, they can be just as beautiful without makeup as they can with it. It's too often i go to the mall or the movies and i see 15 year old girls wearing nothing at all with cake loads of make-up on that would even make Mimi cringe. it's often funny, but overall just sad

I couldn't get through this movie. Too sad.
I hate crying, so sad stuff is always out of the question with me. What I did watch though was really, REALLY good.
