Subject: Summer of 2008:A Look Back
Content: How was this summer for all you scenesters? Was it a summer that perhaps when you are 60 you will tell the grandkids "it twas' the summer of 08, and that's when I got my first six string, oh yes it's also when I got the Iphone 3G and saw that horrible Lost Boys sequel."
Did you fall in love for the first time? Travel somewhere new? Meet some great friends?
My highlights would be meeting many great people from different countries, being influenced on marching towards life and not sitting back and observing so much, and also being entertained with shows and films.
The amazing shows I have seen this summer were:
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with Steve Winwood
Radiohead with Grizzly Bear
Bob Dylan
Nine Inch Nails
pretty impressive if you ask me, all brilliant men in that group
As far as films at the theater I saw mostly the blockbusters:
Dark Knight
Mummy chinese style
Iron Man
Tropic Thunder
Indiana Jones
and the not so blockbusters:
The Strangers
Mirrors (was impressed with this one)
