Title: Stand By Me

Blog Entry: I've heard the title Stand By Me about a thousand times in life. I always thought I knew what that movie was.. with Morgan Freeman.. So a few friends were talking about Stand By Me being amazing and I had agreed but haven't seen it for a while.. Yesterday I was browsing through the free movies on Comcast... and there it was. Stand By Me. I decided to watch it again... low and behold.. it is not the "Stand By Me" I remember. The movie I was thinking about was actually "Lean On Me." So I decided to watch the real Stand By Me. It was about 4 twelve year old friends embarking on an adventure to find the body of a boy their age who had gone missing. I was instantly pulled in. I cannot believe this is the first time I have seen this movie. There is something about this movie.. it just makes you think about life. Especially when one has had a tough year like this. Triple death in the family, a mother battling cancer. It just puts things into perspective.
I'm glad I saw it.
